The Hunter 18 is designed to serve a wide spectrum of sailors, from novices to salty veterans. Constructed of rugged, durable fiberglass, the Hunter 18 opens up endless possibilities on the waters around you. The kids will learn to sail safely in the Hunter 18 with its generous freeboard and ease of handling. With a max capacity of four, families can take daytrips in safety and comfort. Veteran sailors will appreciate the efficient hull design – below the waterline, a bow hollow and hard chine make for a slippery hull that delivers stability and performance even on light air days.

Several key features make the Hunter 18 an ideal daysailer. A seven foot beam guarantees stability and provides a clean and clutter-free cockpit. With its large main and small jib, the rig can be sailed by beginners, and this setup also provides fun for the seasoned sailor. The kick-up centerboard and swing-up rudder make landing and beaching a breeze, and the canvas cuddy unsnaps for easy bow access.

The Hunter 18 is easy to trailer, rig and launch, and it will carry the entire crew. An optional spinnaker package will add even more performance. This is a fun, versatile boat for the family on the go!

The concept of the Sunday Cat was to have a boat with the cockpit space of our current Sun Cat Daysailer but with the convenience of an enclosed porta potty area. It also provides shelter in the event of inclement weather. There is an abundance of storage space that is accessible through the seat locker hatches in the cockpit in addition to the little cabin.

The cabin is not only large enough for the porta potty and gear but there is plenty of room for a cooler. The Sunday Cat is not a sleep aboard boat but is intended to be the ultimate daysailer that provides room for all of your gear and the ability for you to have extended day sails because of the available porta potty.

The Sunday Cat boasts, as standard equipment, the newest version of our Mastendr™ Quick Rig Sailing System, the Mastendr Plus™. The Mastendr Plus™ allows raising the mast from the cockpit. There is nothing to attach or prepare. Simply raise the leverage yoke, pull the slack out of the line, and raise the mast as if it were a sail. View the video to see this in action.

The Launch is a comfortable, multiuse yacht for a leisurely cruise for sightseeing, to dinner or, even, the occasional overnighter. With the standard Yanmar 2 cylinder diesel engine it will cruise along at 6 knots and consume approximately 1/3rd of a gallon per hour of diesel fuel.

There is a complete list of available options including bimini tops, cockpit cushions with backrests, trailer, Elco electric propulsion, and a portable generator for extending the range of the electric model.

The Elco electric propulsion will move The Launch at 5.3 knots for 5-6 hours. At 4 knots the range is 10-12 hours.

On deck there is an insulated, built in ice box with a drain overboard. Below is comfortable seating for 3, with quarter berths that extend under the cockpit to provide 6'6" of sleeping space. The portable head stores under the cockpit floor and is pulled out for use.

The Catalina Expo 12.5 is a fun machine. Thanks to the SmartRig® and Hoyt boom, getting underway has never been this quick and easy! There are no stays, no chainplates, and no halyards. Putting the boat away is also a snap, as both mast and boom are deck-stepped and removable by hand, without any tools, in minutes. This is one boat every member of the family and friends will want to sail all day long. The tapered one piece carbon fiber mast means more sail power, with less weight aloft. The rotating SmartRig mast acts as a reefing line and furling drum to shorten or increase sail effortlessly. The same line even rolls the sail completely around the mast for storage. The Expo 12.5 has a seat across the cockpit, perfect for a crew member who is just learning to sail, or just wants a comfortable place to enjoy the ride. Best of all the Expo 12.5 is a Catalina and is built with the same quality materials and attention to detail as every other model we build. Standard items include a one-piece fiberglass deck with molded-in non-skid and hand laid fiberglass hull. Full flotation inside the hull means the 12.5 is virtually unsinkable. The Expo 12.5 is perfect for the new or experienced sailor who want a great handling sailboat that is non-technical. Simple to rig, exciting to sail, the 12.5 is all about fun on the water.

The design of the Catalina Expo 14.2 is based on the hugely successful Catalina 14.2. Having built over 5,000 Catalina 14.2s the Expo is intended as an alternative rig configuration for those new to sailing or experienced sailors who want to enjoy the fun of small boat sailing in a simple, non-technical fun boat. The SmartRig® system consists of a tapered carbon fiber mast and deck stepped Hoyt boom. Just two lines control all the sail’s power. One line controls the sail size, while the mainsheet line shapes the sail. Strong, yet flexible, the mast bends in the gusty conditions instead of the boat heeling excessively. Having far less weight than an aluminum mast, the boat is more stable, with less tipping. At the end of the day, just pull the furling line and the sail wraps completely around the mast. The mast and boom are free-standing and have no wires or chainplates to work around. This not only greatly decreases set-up time, but makes for a roomy, more comfortable, inviting cockpit. The one-piece aluminum Hoyt boom is up high and out of the way, with no chance of falling into the cockpit.
